Garage Fire 10-22-07

At 1220 pm the 19-02 box was hit for the garage fire at 9 Larch Lane.  Engine 19 and Chief 19 (Dressler) arrived to find smoke from the garage and a good samaritan using the garden hose in the window.  A line was pulled and crews found a small fire in the garage.  A quick knock was made and the house was opened up for ventilation.  Upon making entry to the garage FF Rott found two dogs which were able to escape once the garage door was opened.  Thankfully the dogs were not injured. It appears that a plastic oscillating fan may have malfunctioned.
