Around 5:30pm today crews were sent for a deck on fire at 15 Cherish Drive in the 19-01 Box.  Crews arrived to find heavy fire on the rear and roof area.  Due to being a larger home with vaulted ceilings additional crews were summoned to assist in extinguishment and extensive overhaul.  Truck 17 (Midway) and Truck 30 (Hampden) we both utilized as well as Engine 25 (Monroe) for their CAFS (Compressed Air Foam System).  Multiple handlines and master streams were used to knock a bulk of the fire down.  Again, thanks to all of those that assisted, and a special thanks to Perry Engine 11 (Perdix) for the transfer.
